This locomotive was derailed on a lead adjacent to a busy main line, making side booms less than ideal. It was also up on an embankment, meaning a crane could not set up next to the locomotive, the crane would need to have massive capacity to set up 40 feet away and still have the capacity to lift one end of the locomotive.
Our rerailing beam was the perfect solution. With no disruption to the adjacent class 1 railroad and at a fraction of the cost, of any other method, we got this plant up and running fast. Problem solved!
